Delicious homemade sauce which can be stored for a couple of months in the refrigerator and can be used to cook up a quick delicious Indian Chinese dish .
Ingredients
- 2 celery sticks 9” long
- 12-15 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup ginger cut into small pieces
- Grind the above coarsely in a blender
- Take a wok heat it
- Stir in 5 tablespoons of oil
- When hot add the blended mixture
- Add to it 2 tablespoons of chilli garlic sauce( available in stores in asian aisle )
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 11/2 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- Fry the mixture for 8 minutes on medium low heat till you see the oil separate
- Cool it and you can store it in a jar in your fridge for a couple of months
