Ingredients
- Medium sized sweet pineapple cut and coarsely blended
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cardamom powder (if you can freshly grind it, it’s even more aromatic)
- Tiny Sprinkle of salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Nuts to garnish (I prefer lightly roasted cashews for a nice buttery finish, fine crunchy almond slivers for texture and a few pistachio crumbles for contrast, but you can definitely experiment with what you love including adding sweet raisins.)
Procedure
- Melt butter in a pot and add your blended pineapple
- To it add sugar, milk, cardamom powder and cook between low and medium heat till all the liquid is evaporated
- Plate it and garnish with nuts!
