In a pressure cooker put in the washed beef, ginger garlic paste, onions, chana daal, shan masala and two cups of water.
Close pressure cooker and cook for three whistles or till meat is cooked
Open lid and stir till all the water is evaporated
Remove the content into a bowl
Let it cool for 15-20 minutes and mix well
Add to it egg, cilantro and lemon juice when the mixture is cool
Mix well and make patties.
Keep the patties in the fridge for half an hour
Put 2 tablespoons of oil and shallow fry the kababs and put them on kitchen towel to absorb any excessive grease
You could also bake the kababs in the oven on a greased baking tray
You can serve them with a chutney of your choice or any salad.
