Take the rolls and cut them into halves. Lay them on a baking tray and lightly butter them on both sides.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Bake the bread for 20 minutes (10 minutes on each side)
Turn off oven and let sit
Take a pot and heat 7 cups of milk on medium heat
Add to it half and half, condensed milk, milk powder, cardamom powder, sugar, vanilla extract and saffron
While the milk is boiling take the bread and cut into cubes
Add the bread to the milk and fold it in
Add 2 tablespoons of butter or ghee
Cook on medium for 10 minutes stirring often
The turn the heat to low and let it cook till all the milk is gone stirring occasionally
Mix in the nuts & dried fruits (leave some for garnish)
Let it cool for 15 minutes
Garnish with your choice of nuts. Enjoy!
