Vegetable Fried Rice

Fried rice is a dish of cooked rice that has been stir fried in a wok or a frying pan and usually mixed with other ingredients  as eggs, diced vegetables, chicken, beef or shrimp.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups boiled rice
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 eggs beaten well
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon siracha sauce optional

Instructions
 

  • Add oil to a heated wok or frying pan
  • Add the minced garlic
  • Stir for one minute and add the beaten eggs & scramble well
  • Add in the vegetables and saute for 3-4 minutes
  • Add the rice and mix well
  • Add soy sauce ,siracha sauce salt and pepper, vinegar
  • Add siracha sauce (optional), vinegar, pepper and salt to taste
  • Mix well, add green onions and serve hot
